And then I go and take medication to control it and people give me hell about that too. aaskffhsdh.

I love when people are all like “When I’m depressed, I stop being depressed and be awesome!” Yeah? Because when I’m depressed I have trouble leaving my house. And I’m not sad because shit happened, bro. I’m sad and I don’t know why and I can’t stop. In the immortal words of Biggie Smalls, “I don’t wanna live no mo’. Sometimes I hear death knockin’ at my front do’. I’m livin’ everyday like a hustle, another drug to juggle. Another day, another struggle.”

I once had a hypnotherapist try to hypnotize me out of having an asthma attack at a train station. He kept telling me that it was all in my head and to “throw away whatever was causing my asthma.” I didn’t have the breath to tell him that the “cause” of my asthma is generally considered to be a false alarm reaction of my immune system.
I’ve also been told that I wouldn’t be allergic to cats if I were a better person.
Reblogging kind of belatedly, but this. All of the above. :< I’m afraid to talk about being depressed/anxious because it just makes people angry at me for complaining about a problem I apparently made up in my head for attention, or that I somehow brought on myself because I underestimated the power of positive thinking. Pretty sure if I could magically make myself feel better by not wanting to be depressed anymore, I’d have, y’know, done that already.

Reasons for doing this?
1: My followers can finally have a printed comic by me.
2: It seemed like a fun activity to do, specially with young kids.
3: It might be cool if interweb folks shared tiny little mini comics with each other. And a whole bunch of people can print each other’s comics and maybe we could collect ones by other artists. So… ya know. Why not?
EDIT: AHH! Before I forget, I should mention that this mini comic format was created by the folks at http://www.pocketmod.com/ I came by their technique while listening to Fear the Boot, a roleplaying game podcast as they were interviewing Stuart Robertson an indie table top rpg designer.

I wanted to make like a title screen type thinger. I finished this last night at like 4am.

After seeing the number of folks who have suffered OH GOD NO I INKED ON MY SKETCH LAYER moments, I figured it would be worth sharing this easy trick to fix it and clean the scribbles off your nice clean lines.
It seems kind of long because I tried to make it as easy to follow as possible for folks who might not be totally familiar with the Photoshop interface, but really, it’s like three clicks. When I was in school I just made an action that would do this for me automatically so I could just set it on a folder of three hundred drawings and walk off to get a bagel.
